Seeking an experienced professional to be a key member of Capital One's Global Securitization team, which is responsible for Capital Ones securitization execution, administration, and compliance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Execution, administration, and maintenance of responsibilities associated with the management of an asset backed securities (ABS) funding program, including:
- Execution against transaction plans and compliance with governing documents;
- Executing asset additions, conduit renewals, draws, and paydowns
- Conducting research and analysis in support of funding programs; and
- Completing internal/external reporting and other administrative responsibilities.
Research and analysis associated with development of program strategy, including: - Timing of issuance
- Utilization of funding partners
- Recommendations on funding cost optimization
Developing knowledge of a program's structure, capital markets presence, compliance, reporting, regulatory and accounting requirements, cash flows, etc., including: - Documentation and procedures associated with the program;
- Understanding the ABS market (pricing, duration, competitors, etc.); and
- Understanding applicable accounting regulations (FAS 140, etc.) that impacts securitization.
Developing and maintaining productive relationships with key internal and external partners and customers, including: - Internal and external transaction participants, such as internal and external counsel;
- Accounting and internal/external auditors;
- Business lines; and
- Investment banks and rating agency transaction analysts.
Executing on departmental processes and procedures for assigned programs that promote reliability, efficiency, and performance measurement.
